The Jardin des Plantes
With it's 23 hectares, this botanical garden is a place to enjoy the fresh air and go for a walk, as well as being home to botanical exhibitions and research. Opened in 1635, it is part of the Museum of Natural History and consists of large greenhouses and specialized areas including a conservation center for rare birds and small animals. The Flower Market
When visiting the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, stop by the Flower Market. Opened on the island of the City since 1830, it welcomes you in a colorful atmosphere. Composed of classic and exotic flowers, this market is held under gorgeous Paris style conservatories made of glass and metal dating back to 1900.
